Cramer AiConic 5000 robotic mower - RTK Vision The new Cramer AIConic robotic mower is the beginning of a new era. This new AIConic 5000 robotic mower has an area performance of up to 5000 sqm and operates without a boundary wire. Cramer has taken RTK to the next level of precision. Using RTK Fusion technology, which combines satellite positioning, radar, cameras and IMU (inertial measurement units), ensures that AiConic knows where to go and where to mow. A convincing AI hardware that enables the processing of large amounts of data within milliseconds, similar to that used in self-driving Teslas. The application of AI is possible thanks to the NPU (Neural Processing Unit), which is all about speed and real-time processing in order to be able to react and act on the sensor data in a timely manner. RTK GNSS - The RTK position is the basis of the navigation system and enables the system to determine the position with centimeter accuracy. If the RTK signal is poor or not reliable enough, the movement can be controlled with additional sensors. Camera -The camera is used for navigation and visualization of the environment. Wheels - Ability to measure distances and direction of travel via the rotation of the wheels. Sensors - (IMU, accelerometer and gyroscope) Ability to control that the mower stays moving (i.e. the wheels do not spin) and drives straight depending on the ground conditions (slopes, etc.).
